Who I am
This website is run by Andrew T Chapman Media, based in Burnley, Lancashire. I am the person responsible for your personal information. You can contact me at hello@andrewtchapman.co.uk.
What I collect
I only collect personal information when you send an enquiry through the form on this site. That is your name, email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, the service you are interested in, and your message.
Why, and on what basis
I use it to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to provide the work you ask for. This is because you asked me to get in touch, and because it is in my legitimate interest to answer enquiries from potential customers.
Where it goes
Your enquiry is sent to my business email inbox. The website does not keep a copy of your message in its database. To stop the same enquiry being sent twice, the site briefly remembers a scrambled, one-way version of your email address for about a minute.
My website and email are hosted by IONOS, which processes data for me to provide that service. I do not sell your information or use it for marketing you did not ask for.
Cookies and visitor counts
This site does not set cookies. It uses a privacy-friendly visit counter (Statify) that counts page visits without tracking individual people.
Other services this site loads
To show the page, your browser fetches the video clips from Pexels (videos.pexels.com) and the fonts from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). Those services can see your IP address and basic browser details when that happens, as with any website you visit. I plan to host these files on this site instead.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to deal with your request and to keep ordinary business records. If an enquiry does not lead to any work, I delete it when I no longer need it.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or stop using it. Email me and I will respond. If you are unhappy with how I handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
